St Thomas Hospice situated near Kancheepuram, started and run by Fr. Thomas, cares for the dying destitutes. Our members visited the Hospice and presented cash, blankets, rice and cooking oil worth around Rs 25000.

Lunch distributed on the world poor day

Pope Francis invited catholics to celebrate the World Day of the Poor on November 19. On that day, our members distributed lunch to the poor sitting on the streets of Kelambakkam and Tirupporur.

Active participation on parish activities

our members put up a stall as part of fun fair, organized by the parish. We gave the sale proceeds of Rs. 9850, the second highest collection, to the parish as our contribution for the Mission Sunday.

Free eye camp

we organized a free eye camp with the help of Sankara eye hospital. 83 persons got their eyes checked and treated. We sponsored the cost of spectacles to those who couldn't afford the same.
